2 years ago today, I was at the doctors office getting 4oz. of fluid drained from my neck in a fine needle aspiration biopsy.  He was sure of what it was by the color of the fluid.  I was told I have Thyroid Cancer that day.

Today I paid off my bill at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

Today is my Grandmothers birthday, I’ve missed you a lot.

Today I received a letter that UWMC is going to file an appeal on my behalf for payment of the PET/CT scan in May.  Here’s to hoping I don’t become one of those 10%.

3 weeks from today, I have a blood draw and ultrasound.

A month from today, I find out if there continues to be no evidence of disease.
