Little Something

As we were sitting at dinner a couple weeks ago, at the table next to ours there was a Grandfather and his Grandson enjoying dinner together.  I couldn’t help but spend time observing them and listening to their conversation when I could.  He was a veteran and was telling his Grandson stories about when he was his age and how he remembered things his Grandson did when he was smaller.  I hope they’re able to cherish those small moments.  While it was just a simple dinner, it made me really think about my Grandparents and how much I miss them.  I’ve said this before, but I always think about my Grandma whenever I’m doing something fun or exciting and how I’d call her so she could share in it.  I really, really miss that.
